DESCRIPTION:

Family literacy programming at the East African Women’s Center is made up of three parts: 1) ESL/Transition classes for refugee mothers (See ESL/Transition); 2) free childcare and early childhood development activities for their infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (See Family Childcare); and 3) “5th Day”/Living in America sessions for mothers and children together.
